By accessing or using our website, mobile applications — BarPortal (for membership payments, ID card, parking sticker, experience letter, and job applications) and BP Kiosk (for welfare ticket printing at self-service kiosk machines) — or associated services ("Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

• "Association" refers to District Bar Association Sonipat.
• "Technology Partner" refers to BarPortal India LLP, which develops, maintains, and hosts the software and the BP Kiosk self-service kiosk application on behalf of the Association.
• "BP Kiosk" refers to the self-service kiosk machine and application installed at Bar Association premises for welfare ticket purchase and other member services.
• "User" / "Member" / "Advocate" refers to any person accessing or using the Services, including registered members of the Association.

2. Purpose of the Services

The Services are intended to provide:

• Membership management (enrollment, renewals, and fee payments)
• Advocate ID cards, parking stickers, or other member facilities
• Digital notices, announcements, and circulars of the Association
• Access to Bar Association resources and information
• Self-service welfare ticket purchase through the BP Kiosk machine installed at the Association premises

The Services are for advocates registered with District Bar Association Sonipat and are not intended for general public use.

3. BP Kiosk Self-Service Machine

The BP Kiosk is a self-service kiosk machine provided by BarPortal India LLP and installed at the Bar Association premises. The following terms apply:

• The BP Kiosk is available for registered advocates to purchase welfare tickets and access other member services.
• Members must enter their valid mobile number and enrollment number for identity verification before making a purchase.
• Welfare ticket payments are processed through integrated payment gateways (Razorpay/Cashfree).
• A printed receipt with QR code verification is issued upon successful payment.
• The BP Kiosk machine hardware is purchased from an authorized vendor with one year on-site warranty. After one year, warranty can be extended directly from the vendor.
• The Association and BarPortal India LLP shall not be liable for any hardware malfunction, power failure, or network issues affecting the kiosk machine.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration and updates.
• Use the Services, including the BP Kiosk machine, only for lawful purposes related to your membership with District Bar Association Sonipat.
• Not share your login credentials with unauthorized persons.
• Not tamper with, damage, or misuse the BP Kiosk machine or its peripherals (printer, screen, payment terminal).
• Comply with all rules, regulations, and bye-laws of the Association.

5. Technology Partner Disclaimer

The Services are powered by BarPortal India LLP, the official technology partner of the Association.

• BarPortal India LLP provides software, hosting, technical support, and the BP Kiosk self-service kiosk application.
• BarPortal India LLP does not control membership decisions, advocate rights, or Bar Association policies.
• All ownership of member data and content rests with District Bar Association Sonipat.

6. Fees & Payments

• Membership fees, renewal charges, welfare ticket prices, or other payments are determined solely by District Bar Association Sonipat.
• Payment gateways and digital payment facilities, including those on the BP Kiosk machine, are integrated for member convenience.
• The Association shall not be liable for any failure or delay in payment processing due to banking or third-party issues.

7. Limitation of Liability

• District Bar Association Sonipat shall not be responsible for:
  • Technical errors, downtime, or service interruptions on the website, app, or BP Kiosk machine.
  • Unauthorized access due to user negligence (e.g., sharing passwords).
  • Printer malfunctions or receipt printing failures at the BP Kiosk.
• BarPortal India LLP shall not be liable for decisions, actions, or disputes of the Association.

8. Intellectual Property

All logos, designs, notices, and content published under the Association's name remain the property of District Bar Association Sonipat.

The software platform, including the BP Kiosk application, remains the property of BarPortal India LLP but is licensed for use by the Association.

9. Termination of Access

• The Association may suspend or terminate member access for violation of rules or non-payment of fees.
• The Association reserves the right to modify or discontinue any feature of the Services, including the BP Kiosk services, at its discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Sonipat.
